Since today is going to be a very nice, sunny day...I decided to dress Neelah in this cute little sun dress. She has been pretty happy the last couple of days. She is getting good at letting out all that gas! She actually woke us up yesterday morning by tooting. And then this morning as we were saying the prayer over breakfast, she decided to let one rip and Finn just had to announce it to us all, as if we couldn't hear it for ourselves. :) How so much stink can come out of something so cute is beyond me.
Here is Finn pre-clothing. He likes to stay in his jammies all morning. Actually, he likes to stay in his jammies because then he doesn't have to have his bum changed. Wierd child. He has begun to tell us as soon as he poops that he needs a clean bum but if it is just wet, he will wear it all day long.
I guess I have to apologize, I didn't mean for this blog entry to be all about bowels etc. Oh well.

The Weekend
On Saturday, Finn and Eric decided to play in the tent. We bought this at ROSS about a month ago and it has been a big hit ever since. Finn is just about too tall for it if he stands up inside. He takes his trains and books in there and entertains himself. Here we have Finn and dad inside the tent, reading stories.
Ya-ya and Neelah. We are SO BLESSED to have mom around!! What would we do without her? What would Finn do? Since Neelah has joined our family, Finn has been following Ya-ya around constantly since she is the one who will pay attention to him. Poor kid. Poor mom.
Here is yet another testimony to why I don't like late church. Finn fell asleep in like 60 seconds.

Sydney Rossi's bday party
Okay, so I bootlegged these photo's off of the Rossi Blog but they are so cute and I forgot my camera so this is what you get. Just like Amy says in her blog, yes, it does look like Finn is downing a beer but it IS just orange soda...I promise. :) Finn has learned to sing happy birthday and he often sings it to his trains. Here are the kids just before the candle blowing. Camden was so anxious to blow out that candle!! The cake was so yummy and Camden immediately removed the Reeses on the top and put them in his mouth. We love it when the Rossi's invite us to their events, we always have so much fun.
This is Camden and Finn on the teeter-totter. They finally grasped the concept of how it works and had a blast. This was mere moments before Finn had his melt-down and Camden started torchering him. They better get used to each other, they don't have much of a choice. No, usually they have a great time together!
Getting used to having a new baby around...
Like I said in the other blog, I LOVE it when Neelah is awake! Although you can't tell in this pic, her hair is really curly on top...not so much on the sides. Both Eric and I think her hair is turning more and more auburn as the days go by. Wishfull thinking? Maybe but it just might be true!
We were trying to get Finn to hold Neelah but he didn't want her next to him. He has his moments, sometimes he insists on holding her and others it's as if she doesn't even exist. He is really helpful when I ask him to bring me her blanket or burper. He is constantly concerned that she wear a bow in her hair. All in all, he is adjusting quite well. I am working on making sure he gets his one on one time with Mommy. That is harder than I thought it would be.
Mom and I love this pic...she has such a goofy smile! It was one of those random accidents that we caught it on camera. Isn't she ADOREABLE???
Easter pics
This Easter we had a chill family dinner at our house. Easter was actually my due date and I was SO GLAD that I wasn't prego anymore. Plus it was fun to show off the new baby. Here is Great-grandma Colleen holding Neelah. She was one of the few to get to hold her...I am still a little leary about passing a new baby around. It's okay, you can call me O.C.D. I love this pic because grandma and Neelah are just looking into each others eyes. I love it when she is awake.
Mom made all the kids these bunny ear hats. Finn has insisted on wearing them to random places since. He hops around the house and announces that is is a bunny. The kids had fun searching for easter eggs that I hid around the back yard. Even though it was cold, they had fun. This pic is of Keaton, Averie, Felicity, Finn and Reagan. Only Gabe and Neelah are missing. Maybe next year they will graduate to being old enough to have bunny ears...
