14 Brilliant Blue Eyes

While we were on vacation in Utah this summer, Lynds took some pictures of all the grandkids together. With Eric's blue eyes and Jon's blue eyes, the Richardson hazels didn't stand a chance!

It was so good to get all the kids together! On of the worst parts about living away from your family is that the cousins don't grow up together. Both Eric and I were extremely close to our cousins growing up. Going to family get togethers was always fun. Eventually we hope to be closer to cousins!

Something is missing...

Is there anything cuter than a kid who is missing both front teeth?

Is there anything more awkward looking than the same kid whose two adult teeth have grown in?

I adore Finn's smile now that his two front teeth are gone. It has such an innocent feeling to it.

This is a classic Neelah picture! While in NC for the 4th of July, she came upon Kinney and Riley's jewelry stash. Neelah is ALL GIRL!! She prances. She sings. She loves to comb hair, paint nails and watch me put on my make-up. Pink is her favorite color. I adore my daughter!

Brothers

These two are such cute brothers! Finn adores Keegan and always wants to help him and/or make him happy. It still is so crazy to me how much they look alike or rather, how much Keegan looks like Finn did as a baby. I can't wait to see if the resemblance sticks!

Keegan C Watson at 6 months

Here is Keegan at 6 months. He was 15.15 pounds and 28 inches long- by FAR my smallest baby at this age. He can't quite sit up at this point but is happy almost constantly. He is a great sleeper and adores his sisters and brother. They are the only ones who can make him laugh! Savvy insists on calling him "Keegster".

Here is a picture of me around the age of 3. Look like anyone we know...?

"Hiiiii-YA!!"

Finn has been loving his karate classes and keeps moving up the ladder. We love to see him learn new things and work to perfect his technique. The girls love to watch and then come home and try the moves out for themselves.

This has been the typical pose/attitude from Savvy as of late. It's very matter of fact. She starts out by saying "Mom, here's the deal..." and then she tells me how it's gonna be! I love the personality that oozes from her!

Easter 2011

Before heading to church, we did a little Easter Bunny hunt.

Everyone in their Easter best, except Keegan. He gets dressed last as to avoid any spitting up on the fancy church clothes.

Utah Trip

We made a quick jaunt to Utah in April to attend Janae and Trevor's wedding. The four day trip was fun and worthwhile.

Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures with the Bride and Groom but here are a few from Trevor and Janae's wedding luncheon. Everything was done by family including the AMAZING cake below. Alisa outdid herself this time and it was tasty to boot! Red Velvet!

Keegan is 2 months old

Keegan has started to smile and we do our best to get as many out of him as we can. At his 2 month check up he weighed 11 pounds, 7 ounces. In 7 weeks he gained almost 5 pounds. He was 23 1/2 inches long. Keegan looks identical to Finn, without the red hair. I feel like I am having daily deja'vu when I look at him.

He has started sleeping 5 hour streches at night, most of the time. He still wants to eat every
2 1/2 hours when he is awake though. The girls pay way too much attention to him and I have to pretty much pull them off him at least once a day. I thought that wouldn't last but I was wrong. They are just as in love with you as I am.

New Years 2010

We were lucky to have some of the Watson's come visit us for New Years Weekend. Grandma and Grandpa, Alisa, Janae and Amanda all came to MD after spending Christmas in NC with Annie and her family. They were also able to attend Keegan's blessing while here so we were really excited about that.

Christmas 2010

This year we celebrated with just us. It was only the second in seven years that we weren't with extended families. Here are the kids in their Christmas Eve jammies.
