While in Hawaii, Eric and I celebrated our 5th Wedding anniversary. I can't believe it has only been 5 years...it seems like I have been with Eric forever. I love him so much and love the family we have made.

a big day for Neelah
Today has been a good day. Neelah sported her first pony tail today! How darling is she! When I am at work and miss my kids, I just have to look at pictures like this and I remember how blessed I am and that they will be there tomorrow when I wake up.
Yesterday Finn said the funniest and most precious thing. I was crocheting and he came up and asked me what I was doing.
Me: I am making a baby blanket for my friend who is going to have a baby.
Finn: What about our baby?
Me: Well, our baby is a girl and this blanket is for a boy.
Finn: But I want a baby boy, I want to be a BROTHER!
Me: Well, you are still a brother, but our baby is a girl.
Finn: (thinking) Well, maybe we could go to church and ask Jesus for a boy!
Me: (laughing to myself) Maybe next time...(if there is a next time!)
I LOVE MY KIDS!

Sunshine in my day of storms...
So I know that some of you are anxiously awaiting Hawaii photos but I promise, they will come. For now I will write about my darling little Finn. I spent the last 2 days of our Hawaii va-cay sick as a dog and then on Wednesday morning when we got home I went straight to bed and didn't wake up till 10:30am Thursday morning. Seriously. The rest of the day was spent doing as little as possible and when Neelah went down for her nap, Finn got to watch a Thomas the Tank movie and I went back to bed. After Finn's movie was over, he came into my room and asked if he could cuddle with me. CUDDLE WITH ME PEOPLE!! He crawled into my bed and played with my hair until I fell back asleep. An hour later he tapped me on the shoulder and said, "I'm hungry Mommy" and so I took my angel of a son up to eat some ridiculously nutritious Ramen Noodles. It was all I could muster up folks!
I am the most blessed woman I know to have been blessed with these 2 choice spirits. I thank Heavenly Father each day for moments like this with my kids, after all, they make all the screaming and arguing well worth while!

Fun with the Pollocks!
So if you are reading this and there are no pictures...don't fret. I will get them up soon. I am having technical difficulties with the hotel internet service.
later... so I finally got some of the pictures to upload but they are mini-me's!! Deal with it until I can fix it. :)

The Verdict is IN!!
Howdy Folks! I wish I had some awesome pictures to show you of our baby GIRL, but I just realized that the cd that the tech gave me is READ ONLY!! Here I thought he was being so nice just because Eric is deployed yada yada yada. Whatever. I can't do anything about it now. We are hoping that Eric will get a day long layover here before going to the rest of his training so that we can march ourselves in to St Mark's Hospital (where Eric's mom Sharlene works in the L&D dept) and get us some REAL photos!! Ulgh!
Anyway, we have a healthy baby girl on the way and we are THRILLED!!

Out of the mouths of babe's
Mom was picking the kids up today at Grandma Watsons and Finn looked out the window at the moon. He told Ya-ya that he used to live in the moon. She asked what he meant and he repeated that he used to live there...yesterday. If I haven't explained, anything that isn't today, is yesterday to Finn. Last week, tomorrow, yesterday...all YESTERDAY. So when Finn was telling Mom that he lived in the moon yesterday, she was really confused as to what he was talking about. She told him that no, we live in a house. He replied, No, YESTERDAY I lived with Heavenly Father in the moon! Duh Ya-ya. Of course he did.
He obviously associated the moon with heaven. And he is learning that he used to live with Heavenly Father there.
All I have to say is HOW SWEET IS MY CHILD?!!!

Bribe the boy
So Finn sleeps in a full size bed with the gate things because he cannot stay in his bed when he sleeps. When we go to Hawaii however, he won't have gates so needless to say, he won't be sleeping in the bed. My son takes after me in his OCD. Every night he has to have the blankets "just so"....all straighened out with no wrinkles. His bedtime routine is exact and so the whole sleeping on the floor in the hotel thing concerned me. I have been talking to him about it...prepping him if you will. We talked about getting a sleeping bag and he said that he wanted a "Cars" one.
Last night I was in Wal-mart and found this sleeping bag. Do you think he is excited about it? He is laying in the front room playing with his Leapster...IN THE SLEEPING BAG. I think this was a good purchase on my part and hope that when it comes to actually sleeping in it, he likes it just as much!

Not again...
I have been tagged to tell you about my husband...so here we go!!
I normally wouldn't really be into doing this but I will for the 2 following reasons: 1-Eric is gone, I have nothing better to do and 2-I loved reading Jenny's (she was the one who "tagged" me.
- What is his name? Eric C. Watson
- How long have you been married? On March 14th, it will be 5 years
- How long did you date? Well, if you include phone convo's, we dated for like 3 months (from Dec 28th until March 14th). Technically, we were only physically in the same state for 7 days before we got married in Tom Green County, Texas.
- How old is he? 29
- Who eats more? I am embarrassed to say that it probley is me, Hey, I am feeding 2 here!
- Who said I love you first? I did
- Who is smarter? I think he is
- Whose temper is worse? Hmmmm....in the temper dept, that would have to be him. If we were talking mood swings, that would for sure be me.
- Who does the laundry? Me
- Who does the dishes? Mostly me
- Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Me usually but not while he is gone and maybe never again...Ha Ha Ha!!!
- Who pays the bills? What are bills? (just kidding...me)
- Who cooks dinner? Both of us
- Who drives when you are together? Its an even mixture
- Who is more stubborn? me by far and away
- Whose parents do you see the most? My mom since we are STILL mooching off her by living in her house! Sorry Mom!
- Who proposed? Let me think, OH THAT'S RIGHT! I DIDN'T GET A PROPOSAL OR A HONEYMOON FOR THAT MATTER!!
- Who has more friends? We have great friends together -- its equal I would say
- Who has more siblings? Eric belongs to the Partridge Family compared to my one sister, he is the oldest of 7. Bless his mother Sharlene
- Who wears the pants in the family? Doesn't the wife ALWAYS wear the so called "pants" in a relationship?!!

So I saw this on my friend Jenny's blog and thought I would give it a try. It is interesting enough! Although I don't know how accurate it is...4%, 7%, I mean COME ON! 4% is like nothing! Anyhow, it was fun and different. Enjoy!

Tax Collector took 2!
Eric went spear-fishing last night and caught 4 of these huge fish. They are called parrot Fish and in my opinon, are the best fish ever! They actually caught 4 but only came home with 2. After Eric speared the fish, they string them up and put them in this mesh bag (pictured below). Then they just drag the line with the bag at the end while they continue to snorkel.
Then comes the "TUG". That "TUG" would be a shark (yes people, I did say SHARK!) coming to take his share of their winnings. The SHARK bit a whole through the mesh bag and easily ate two of their four fish. Eric calls it the "tax collector" He says you have to give back to the ocean when you are blessed with fish.
AND I AM STILL SHOVELING SNOW!!

Computer wo's
Does anyone have any suggestions on a good place to take my laptop to have it tuned up? It is running SO SLOW and since I know nothing about computers, I have to take it to someone who knows more than just how to turn it on...
attempt at peek-a-boo
Of course when you want your kids to do something oh-so-cute on camera, they NEVER WILL! Neelah has learned to play peek-a-boo, yesterday in fact, and I wanted to get it on film so that Eric could see it too. This was the best I could do honey. You will just have to figure out how to get your web cam up and running!

Wow!
These are the Days...
Most of you think of Van Morrison when you hear the words, "These are the Days". He did make that phrase famous with his amazing voice (of which, I am listening to right now). But those are not they kind of days I am talking about in this post.
In the above picture, you would initially think that the camera is crap but no, it is a brand new digital camera that takes amazing pictures. What you see as blurry, is in fact the actual weather. This is what it looks like out our door. The wind is blowing the blizzardy snow at around 30 miles an hour. Yes folks, these are the days when I resent Eric for being in Hawaii. He tells me last night that he was cold because it was 67 degrees and windy. Suck it up man, I am the one who gets to shovel this off the driveway since you are busy applying sunscreen!
