The Verdict is IN!!

Howdy Folks! I wish I had some awesome pictures to show you of our baby GIRL, but I just realized that the cd that the tech gave me is READ ONLY!! Here I thought he was being so nice just because Eric is deployed yada yada yada. Whatever. I can't do anything about it now. We are hoping that Eric will get a day long layover here before going to the rest of his training so that we can march ourselves in to St Mark's Hospital (where Eric's mom Sharlene works in the L&D dept) and get us some REAL photos!! Ulgh!

Anyway, we have a healthy baby girl on the way and we are THRILLED!!

Out of the mouths of babe's

Mom was picking the kids up today at Grandma Watsons and Finn looked out the window at the moon. He told Ya-ya that he used to live in the moon. She asked what he meant and he repeated that he used to live there...yesterday. If I haven't explained, anything that isn't today, is yesterday to Finn. Last week, tomorrow, yesterday...all YESTERDAY. So when Finn was telling Mom that he lived in the moon yesterday, she was really confused as to what he was talking about. She told him that no, we live in a house. He replied, No, YESTERDAY I lived with Heavenly Father in the moon! Duh Ya-ya. Of course he did.

He obviously associated the moon with heaven. And he is learning that he used to live with Heavenly Father there.

All I have to say is HOW SWEET IS MY CHILD?!!!

Bribe the boy

So Finn sleeps in a full size bed with the gate things because he cannot stay in his bed when he sleeps. When we go to Hawaii however, he won't have gates so needless to say, he won't be sleeping in the bed. My son takes after me in his OCD. Every night he has to have the blankets "just so"....all straighened out with no wrinkles. His bedtime routine is exact and so the whole sleeping on the floor in the hotel thing concerned me. I have been talking to him about it...prepping him if you will. We talked about getting a sleeping bag and he said that he wanted a "Cars" one.

Last night I was in Wal-mart and found this sleeping bag. Do you think he is excited about it? He is laying in the front room playing with his Leapster...IN THE SLEEPING BAG. I think this was a good purchase on my part and hope that when it comes to actually sleeping in it, he likes it just as much!

I normally wouldn't really be into doing this but I will for the 2 following reasons: 1-Eric is gone, I have nothing better to do and 2-I loved reading Jenny's (she was the one who "tagged" me.

2. How long have you been married? On March 14th, it will be 5 years
   
3. How long did you date? Well, if you include phone convo's, we dated for like 3 months (from Dec 28th until March 14th). Technically, we were only physically in the same state for 7 days before we got married in Tom Green County, Texas.
   
4. How old is he? 29
   
5. Who eats more? I am embarrassed to say that it probley is me, Hey, I am feeding 2 here!
   
6. Who said I love you first? I did
   
7. Who is smarter? I think he is
8. Whose temper is worse? Hmmmm....in the temper dept, that would have to be him. If we were talking mood swings, that would for sure be me.
   
9. Who does the laundry? Me
10. Who does the dishes? Mostly me
11. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Me usually but not while he is gone and maybe never again...Ha Ha Ha!!!
    
12. Who pays the bills? What are bills? (just kidding...me)

16. Whose parents do you see the most? My mom since we are STILL mooching off her by living in her house! Sorry Mom!
17. Who proposed? Let me think, OH THAT'S RIGHT! I DIDN'T GET A PROPOSAL OR A HONEYMOON FOR THAT MATTER!!
    
18. Who has more friends? We have great friends together -- its equal I would say
19. Who has more siblings? Eric belongs to the Partridge Family compared to my one sister, he is the oldest of 7. Bless his mother Sharlene
    
20. Who wears the pants in the family? Doesn't the wife ALWAYS wear the so called "pants" in a relationship?!!

I wasn't going to "tag" anyone but I got to thinking, I would really like to hear answers from everyone. It only took me like 10 min to copy and paste, throw the bored military wife a bone!

Alas...the long awaited Peek-a-boo!!

Finally, I was able to catch Neelah playing peek-a-boo. She mostly just covers her cheeks or ears but really tries to get the eyes. I love it when kids learn new things!
